We started to redecorate boys` bedroom
beginning with complete repainting walls ( spending whole day to cover up old vinyl blue), ceiling and woodwork
Revamping their built in wardrobe ( out with the old chest of drawers and in with some shelving
We removed their pine bunk beds and are planning to build two costume size low beds ( using pallets and other recycled wood )
Below are a few bits and pieces made by the girls and myself including an old chest of drawers ( I used homemade chalk paint to give it shabby chic look ( and same for the ugly Ikea pine chair)
The top of the chest of drawers is sprayed with blackboard paint.
Also finished marine theme bed spread ( so one more to go which will be matching the first one)
Plus a few items refreshed with chalk paint leftovers ( including this cute egg hatch- my car boot sale discovery )
