Chelation/ heavy metals detox
- The good minerals compete to get absorb in your intestines with the heavy metals. Good minerals will get absorbed leaving behind the heavy metals. These heavy metals will then be excreted out of your body. Also drinking a lemon and chlorophyll drink is helpful. Chlorophyll attaches to heavy metals and help to remove them from your body. Drink this every morning. Here's how to make this drink. Combine juice of one lemon, 8 oz of distilled water, and 1-2 oz of chlorophyll.
- "Let your food be your medicine" Hippocrates Some researchers believe that supplements other than oral glutathione may be more effective in raising blood levels of glutathione. For example, in one trial, blood glutathione levels rose nearly 50% in healthy people taking 500 mg of vitamin C per day for only two weeks.10 Vitamin C raises glutathione by helping the body manufacture it. In addition to vitamin C, other nutritional compounds that may, according to preliminary research, help increase glutathione levels include alpha lipoic acid,11 glutamine,12 methionine,13 S-adenosyl methionine (SAMe),14 and whey protein.15 Vitamin B6, riboflavin, and selenium are required in the manufacture of glutathione. The extent to which any of these nutrients effectively increases glutathione levels in humans remains unclear.
- Cilantro: A Common Spice/Herb That Can Save Your Life "Let your food be your medicine, and your medicine be your food." Hippocrates Dr David Williams published in his newsletter Alternative (For the Health Conscious Individual) (Vol. 7, No. 12) June, 1998 the most interesting piece of information to come down the pike in years.
- While researching chelation methods someone suggested taking cilantro and chlorella to chelate heavy metal and a selenium, zinc, and magnesium supplement to replesnish the body of these minerals that will be chelated along with mercury and lead through the chelation process. Brazil Nuts contain one the highest amount of selenium and magnesium in a food and Brazil nuts also contains zinc. This seems like a perfect food for helping rhe body recover minerals though the chelation process.
- "Let your food be your medicine" said Hippocrates I have been trying to come up with my own three week detox protocol and came across this. I didn't see this site first but it is amazing how similar this author's detox solution is to my own. I am still going to try my own detox protocol but if it doesn't work out the way I hope then I am going to try this recipe. I would still add taking Chlorella and lots of filtered water to this protocol. I am also using walnut oil instead of flaxseed oil. Walnut oil has many of the same properties as flaxseed oil but I like what I have read about walnuts as brainfood. It is so interesting that this recipe mentions Brazillian Nuts and lemon juice. I think maybe we are on to something.
- The doctors looked around for the cause of this. It turned out there was a new cook, who served soup before all meals. In every bowl of soup he added "Vietnamese parsley" - that is, cilantro. All metals were removed with the cilantro, including mercury and lead! Apparently the cilantro is meant to change the polarity of the blood.
- Walnut Oil, Hempseed Oil, Flaxseed, and flaxseed oil are rich in alpha-linolenic acid (ALA),which is an essential fatty acid that will help the body chelate mercury and other metals. ALA's are omega-3 fatty acids. ALA appears to be a chelator that is less harsh on the kidneys and from my research I have found to be a great addition to a mercury/aluminum/lead chelation. I think one could get higher doses for chelation in a supplement form without causing liver damage. For less severe chelation needs, ALA's in walnut oil and flaxseed oil could be helpful for chelating in combination with cilantro and chlorella(30 minutes before taking cilantro).
- If you juice then you will probably get some of the pectins and then the pulp can be made into muffins. Otherwise there are several pectin supplements out there. PECTIN - THE FIBER THAT REMOVES HEAVY METALS AND TOXINS. Dr. Balch reports that pectin is good for diabetics, removes toxins and heavy metals, lowers cholesterol and reduces the risk of gallstones. Dr. Balch reports that pectin is found in apples, bananas, the rinds of citrus fruits (lemons, oranges and grapefruit), carrots, beets, cabbage and okra.
- Cilantro (Chinese Parsley) This kitchen herb is capable of mobilizing mercury, cadmium, lead and aluminum in both bones and the central nervous system. It is probably the only effective agent in mobilizing mercury stored in the intracellular space (attached to mitochondria, tubulin, liposomes etc) and in the nucleus of the cell (reversing DNA damage of mercury). Because cilantro mobilizes more toxins then it can carry out of the body, it may flood the connective tissue (where the nerves reside) with metals, that were previously stored in safer hiding places.
- 9 Steps to Detox from Mercury Fillings Prescribe for Yourself – You Must Learn To Be Your Own Best Doctor. Eight amalgams in a single mouth can release 3–17 mcg of mercury per day. 1 mcg of mercury contains 120,827,403,000,000,000,000 atoms. Each mercury atom can potentially destroy a nerve cell or lymphocyte blood cell. Lymphocytes are the "back-bone" of our body's immune system.
- Glutathione (USH) Glutathione is an important antioxidant amino acid which protects against mercury toxicity. Glutathione is a tripeptide, made from the combination of three amino acids; L-glycine, L-glutaniic acid, and L-cysteine. Studies have shown that GSH levels are decreased during cases of mercury toxicity. It is interesting to note that GSH deficiency resulting from genetic errors mimic the acute mercury toxicity effects of Minamata disease. Without adequate OSH, mercury from the environment cannot be detoxified and eliminated. http://www.nzhealth.net.nz/poisons/mercury2.shtml

Sentimental value... and more
Carbolic soap- Good old-fashioned effective soap for those who get really mucky!
mild disinfectant with very distinctive smell.
According to Wikipedia...
Once widely available in the United States and the most common disinfectant cleaner in hospitals, it has disappeared from all but specialty retail stores. It is distributed to disaster victims for routine hygiene by the Red Cross and other relief organizations.[3][4] Remembered by many older Americans as the household soap of their childhood, it is sought after by some for its nostalgic sweet, tarry smell. By killing bacteria, it acts as a mild deodorant when used as a body soap.[5]
