Chicken tacos

 Ingredients : 





  • 1 1/4 pound(s) skinless, boneless chicken breast
  • 3 cloves of garlic ( minced)
  • 3/4 teaspoon(s) chilli powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika 
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup(s) diced red onion
  • 2 tablespoon(s) chopped fresh cilantro (coriander)
  •   3tablespoon(s) fresh lime juice
  • 8large lettuce leaves
  • Shredded romaine lettuce/ white cabbage, tomatoes, avocados, for garnish

Directions
  1. In a medium bowl, toss chicken with garlic, lime juice, 1/2 teaspoon of the chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix  tomatoes, onion, avocado, peppers,cilantro, and some lime juice, tossing to combine.
  3. Prepare an outdoor grill or heat a stovetop grill pan over medium heat ( or grill indoors). Cook chicken 3 to 4 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove from grill.
  4. Cut chicken into 1/2-inch pieces. Fill each lettuce leave with chicken, dividing evenly. Top each with salad mixture. Garnish with lettuce.
